Brian Bourne, CISSP, MCSE2003:Security
President, CMS Consulting Inc., and co-founder of SecTor
Brian brings over 16 years of IT experience and his expertise is grounded in systems integration work with large, complex, multi-platform networks. Brian is very active in the Toronto IT industry. He is a regular speaker at InfoSecurity, TechNet and many other industry events. He is the co-founder and current executive of the TASK, the Toronto Area Security Klatch (www.task.to), which has grown to what is now the second largest user group in Canada. He is also a co-founder of SecTor, the Security Education Conference held annually in Toronto. Brian's current focus is building the strongest team of Microsoft Infrastructure and Collaboration Experts in Canada. Brian maintains his technical edge through consulting and participation on with numerous technology related events. He maintains the latest certifications (such as CISSP and MCSE2003:Security) and leverages his past experiences to provide leadership to the growing team of CMS Consultants.
Derek Cullen, B. Sc.
Chief Operating Officer
Derek joined the company in January 2005 bringing 15 years of IT management experience to the team. Mr. Cullen's responsibilities include directing daily business operations, HR, fiscal, and engagement issues, as well as servicing enterprise, and partner relationships. Prior to joining CMS, Derek managed numerous department's and multi-million dollar projects for 'Fortune 500' companies in the Financial and Consulting Services industry including Royal Bank, Scotiabank, Manulife Financial, Ministry of the Attorney General, and most recently IBM Global Services. His breadth of experience has always centered around managed infrastructure and professional services excellence. Mr. Cullen holds a B.Sc. Computer Science and a Master's Certification in Project Management from York University.
Alexander YK Chan, B.Comm
Vice President of Business Development
 Alexander brings to CMS extensive business development and sales experience across several industries. With tenures at two global companies, Hilti and Bell Laboratories, he has managed highly successful sales organizations and territories (National and Regional) that have brought significant revenue and growth from a variety of industry segments ranging from Construction, Industrial, Public Sector, Health Care, CPG/Retail, and Agricultural. This exposure to the executives of a wide spectrum of industries provides Alexander with a greater understanding of the specialized needs and wants of an organization. Alexander believes in order to achieve sustainable and significant business growth, CMS Consulting must work with key industry personnel to develop best practices and provide chief industry stewardship. Working with an entire organization, from the top management down, Alexander seeks to provide value to organizations seeking to manage change in their I.T. environment by being involved in the planning and strategic phases of key I.T. Infrastructure projects relating to Microsoft technologies.
